  1. Pathfinder Adventure Card Game is a good one for a deck that represents your character through a scenario and adventure. Really looking forward to this one.

  2. Hey – lookin’ forward to more of these – plus just to point out the majority of HPL’s fiction is actually short stories, like “The Call of Cthulhu”, “Dagon”, “The White Ship” and so on. Though some of his novella’s like “The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath” and “At the Mountains of Madness” are his best. While “The Case of Charles Dexter Ward” is actually classed as a small novel, another brilliant tale. Wikipedia does a good job of listing and classifying them all: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._P._Lovecraft_bibliography

  3. Don’t know about this one. As I listened I couldn’t help thinking you were too tepid about the Cthulhu Mythos, like you were too cool for Lovecraft. Got somewhat the same feeling when listening to the LotR podcast, like the guys were too cool to even play the game. A little more enthusiasm and general interest about the setting would go a long way to make the whole affair more endearing.

    1. Hi Murius! Thanks for the feedback. I can’t speak fully for the rest of the guys, but we all have an appreciation for Lovecraft and the setting, but were attracted to the game more for other reasons I think, at least at first. I didn’t want to “fake” being more of an expert about it than I am. Although a fan of Lovecraft back in my high school years, it had been a long, long time since I read any H.P. until I started reading again in anticipation of this game. Not being totally familiar with the setting may be interpreted as disinterest but that’s not the case. In the later episodes, you can hear us talking about how we are reading more and more Lovecraft and kind of exploring that as well as the game. In any case, thanks for listening!
